Here are the rules and regulations. This will be a ZERO DRAMA event! If you cannot abide by these instructions, please do not participate.

STEP 1: Email me the following information:

  • IRC nick
  • Real name
  • Shipping address where you can receive a small parcel
  • A brief description of the sort of gifts you would enjoy. NOT A SHOPPING LIST. eg: GOOD: “I shoot 1911s and revolvers in IDPA, I also enjoy USGI surplus and I reload for the .45 ACP, .30-06 and .270 Winchester.” BAD: “I need a Vltor Modstock in coyote tan and a bayonet for an M1 Carbine.”

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST EMAIL ME BEFORE DECEMBER 3RD! Entries received after midnight eastern on Dec. 3rd will not be accepted.

STEP 2: Shortly after Dec. 3rd, you will receive your assigned recipient! Obviously, please do not inform each other or your victim so we can preserve the surprise. Please do your best to fill your recipient’s wishes without significantly exceeding the suggested $25 gift ceiling. Ideally, send something that you already have and are not using, but try and give something that you would like to receive yourself. Gift wrapping and personal notes are not required but would be a nice touch.

HAVE YOUR PACKAGES IN THE MAIL NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 17th! This gives the USPS some margin for that holiday rush. If you are not going to be able to make this deadline or have other problems, please contact me at any point and we will try to straighten things out.

STEP 3: On or about December 25th, we open our gifts and either LOL or regret the exercise. Blog posts with photos, thank you notes and public discussions are not required but highly encouraged.
